Homebound Services

Homebound is an instructional arrangement/setting providing special education and related services to students who are served at home or hospital bedside. Special Education homebound services can be provided to students who are chronically ill, who are expected to be confined to the home or hospital for 20 consecutive school days. Students, who are in special education, who become pregnant, have access to homebound services.
